Be it as solo singers, backed by other bands or as band leaders, women had a huge presence on the Singapore music scene. All under the idiosyncratic Pop Yeh Yeh umbrella and each with her strong personality and musical tendencies, the music contained in this beautiful record is an absolute trip for anyone interested in '60s and early 70s music.
