After the release of the first compilation LP featuring the best tracks from the KINK 1500 in 2023, this release will have a follow-up on October 17th. On that day, "Het Beste Uit De KINK 1500 - Editie 2025" will be released. This compilation album also features an anthology of tracks chosen by listeners of the Dutch alternative rock radio station. The difference from the first installment is that in addition to a 2-LP (on blue vinyl), this time there will also be a 2-CD version. All the tracks from the 2-LP are also included on the 2-CD, supplemented with several extra tracks and tracks from the first KINK 1500 LP. This year's KINK 1500 will air from October 2nd to November 8th on radio station KINK, which can be received on DAB+, the KINK app, and online. Listeners of the station will vote for their favorite tracks in early October, from which the final list will be compiled. 'Het Beste Uit De KINK 1500' is a good cross-section of the music from the list, with songs from bands including Temple Of The Dog, Weezer, Inhaler, Lamb, The Cure, Bettie Serveert, Queens Of The Stone Age, MGMT, Bush, Iggy Pop, Wolfmother, Ramkot, Elbow, The Killers, Coldplay and The Cranberries.
