There's a famous saying that 'great art comes from great pain' - a truth that echoes throughout In Devastation, Sinsaenum's third full-length album, set for release via earMUSIC later this year. Marking a powerful return after immense personal loss, the record is a raw, emotionally charged tribute to late drummer Joey Jordison and a reflection of guitarist Fr d ric Leclercq's darkest times. Following Echoes of the Tortured (2016) and Repulsion for Humanity (2018), this new chapter strikes a fierce balance between crushing heaviness and melodic precision. In Devastation stands as a testament to the band's resilience and evolution, offering one of the most intense metal releases of 2025. Behind the scenes, the album was shaped by grief, burnout, and a relentless string of challenges, from the pandemic to the deaths of Leclercq's father and Jordison. Joined by surviving members St phane Buriez, Attila Csihar, Sean Zatorsky, and Heimoth, Sinsaenum now channels that pain into purpose, dedicating the album to their fallen brother and the fire that still burns within.
