With over 12 million streams and a reputation built on sold-out shows across the UK, The Milk return with their most ambitious and cinematic record to date - Borderlands. Produced by drummer Mitch Ayling and recorded live at Woods Lodge Studio, the album showcases the four lifelong friends' signature blend of classic soul, modern funk, and widescreen orchestration. Featuring singles 'I Need Your Love', 'A Time To Let Go', and 'The Middle', Borderlands has already received extensive airplay and critical acclaim, including support from BBC Radio 6 Music (Huey Morgan, Lauren Laverne), Jazz FM, Radio 2, and Radio X. The band's previous album Favourite Worry was named BBC 6 Music's Album of the Year, and their debut Tales From The Thames Delta reached the UK Top 40 and earned them Apple iTunes Band of the Year. Borderlands expands The Milk's trademark 'cinematic soul' sound with sweeping strings, full brass, and choral arrangements - mastered on vintage analogue equipment by Lewis Durham (Kitty, Daisy & Lewis).
