In the late '90s, Bride transitioned from their heavy metal roots to a more bluesy, modern rock sound, releasing a couple albums with Organic Records. However, in 2001, the band took a bold step in a different direction with their one and only album influenced by rapcore, a genre that had gained popularity through bands like P.O.D. and Thousand Foot Krutch. But Cornerstone Fest 2001 would see the band return to their metal roots in a big way, delivering a tight, energetic set of classic metal tracks that fans had been longing for. This performance was part of the 80's Metal Retro Night with M8, a special event that celebrated the music and ministry of the Christian metal scene, and Bride was at their best, bringing back their legendary sound and showing that the band still had plenty of fire left.This 2025 reissue brings the classic Cornerstone performance back to life, remastered by Rob Colwell for optimal sound quality.
