An allstar team and an impressive ensemble from the Norwegian jazz and alternative scene. Featuring members from Hedvig Mollestad’s Ekhidna, Megalodon Collective, Delish, Valkyrien Allstars, Monkey Plot, Emmeluth’s Amoeba (including Emmeluth herself!), WIZRD, Pseudo Fruit and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra there is no doubt in the force behind this monster. And they truly are bringin something new and liberating! Hypnotic riffs and rhythms blends together in a neverending dance. And even though this is free avantgarde jazz, their references towards rock, punk and no-wave are present in their expression. More traditional instruments are put aside to make room for noisy guitars, synths and two drummers as they morf from one state to another. Their creative force and pure strength switches between raw power and trance infusing drones and pulsating soundscapes as the tracks span from 24 seconds to 19 minutes in length. Bonanza of Doom is a new and unique force on the ever evolving and mindblowing Norwegian jazz scene.
