Pop Will Eat Itself

Pop Will Eat Itself (also known as PWEI or the Poppies) are an English alternative rock band formed by Clint Mansell, Graham Crabb, Richard March & Adam Mole in Stourbridge in 1986.

Initially known as a grebo act, they changed style to incorporate sample-driven indie and industrial rock & have been credited for influencing acts like The Prodigy & Nine Inch Nails.

After disbanding in the mid 90's, they reformed in 2005 for a series of live shows throughout the UK and while Clint has moved to Hollywood to compose some of the worlds most recognisable film scores (Requiem For A Dream, Black Swan, The Fountain, Loving Vincent etc) the rest of the band has continued on and still has a large, strong following worldwide - touring & playing shows all over the world.

They have released 7 studio albums to date.
