Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Originally released in 1990, Refugees Of The Heart pairs Steve WinwoodAEs dynamic performance with Will JenningsAE lyrics. The album contains elements of Christian music as well as prog-rock. The standout track is 'One And Only Mano' performed with Jim Capaldi, his former partner in the band Traffic. By coincidence, a Traffic reunion followed in 1994. Because of that collaboration, Winwood would not record another solo album until late 1997. Also "I Will Be Here" and "Another Deal Goes Down" were released as singles. Before his successful solo career, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Winwood was a key member of The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and Go.'
