ON YOUR NERVES

Third studio album from the Holland garage punks around Henri Keefman as vinyl only on Soundflat. The Hecks are ready for getting on our nerves! As would be expected from the brilliant predecessors, this LP features wild garagepunk and sixties pop stompers, and also: the hit singles On My Nerves, Lame Song and Fire On Fire - absolutely catchy earwigs to sing along, then a seven-and-a-half-minute tribute to Dead Moon (Chance Of A and a 12-string album version of the single Make It Count. Plus, Well Be Back, written right after the first descent of local football heroes FC Emmen, and finally, the acoustic piece Where Do We Go From Here?. The album turns out very versatile, in a moment you feel reminded of the energy of the Sonics, Remains, Reigning Sound, Oblivians or Radio Birdman. The next moment you can even hear a little Offspring, Green Day, NOFX or Nirvana. Even Bryan Adams is not too far away - just like Daniel Johnston! The whole thing comes in a confusing psychedelic artwork.
