The Early Rationals, I Need You - the Kinks original is a pretty strong record, but in 1967 these boys took it, pumped it full of steroids and amphetamines, and turned it into a monster. Tormentors Shes Gone - staying in 1967, we calm things down a bit whilst adding a sprinkling of darkness to the mood. The rarer of the two originals, this is only just breaking big in the clubs. Its nice to dance to, but it also has the kind of haunting chorus youll eventually find yourself singing in the bathtub.
