MECHANISMS OF OMNISCIENCE

Founded in the December of 2005, Massachusetts' ABNORMALITY pays homage to the classic East Coast Death Metal style they were raised on and was founded on their love of the brutal NY and New England scenes and hyper blasting Quebecois Death Metal. The band quickly gained worldwide attention after their 2007 demo track 'Visions' appeared as a bonus song in the popular Rock Band 2 video game, prompting a viral reaction with young gamers on YouTube. With the 2010 EP, The Collective Calm in Mortal Oblivion and 2012's full length Contaminating the Hive Mind, the band's profile with the DIY crowd grew quickly; appearing on festivals throughout the USA, Europe and Colombia all the while touring and playing one off's from coast to coast. Abnormality continued to produce strong YouTube numbers with videos for singles 'Monarch Omega', 'Fabrication of the Enemy' and 'The Collective Calm in Mortal Oblivion.' 2016 brings the much anticipated Mechanisms of Omniscience to the Metal Blade roster. A no bullshit Death Metal album that is guaranteed to give whiplash, bloody noses and blown MCLs to the Death Metal universe. After returning from their first successful European Tour with Dehumanized, Malignancy and Beneath, their second full length, Mechanism of Omniscience was written at a furious pace.??Vocalist Mallika Sundaramurthy comments, We are extremely proud of the new album from start to finish.
