LEGACY: A CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF JJ JOHNSON

Of all of the records I've made, this one might just be the most special. The opportunity to celebrate the musical legacy of one of my heroes, is a true honor. On this project I'm striving to build on the shoulders of this trombone giant, using many of my favorites of his compositions to explore new musical territory, as well as including pieces that are associated with J.J.'s catalog.
