Kung-Fu was already the fourth, and also the last album that the Heideroosjes through their DIY record label Fairytale Records. Kung-Fu stood no less than ten weeks in the Dutch Album Top 100. One year after release, in 1998, the punk rockers from Horst signed their record deal with the American Epitaph Records.
