GREEN LANGUAGE (VINYL)

Written & recorded at 4am to the sound of birdsong in a remote location in his native Scotland, Rustie's 'Green Language' is full of expansive, expressive compositions of luscious beats and glitzy sounds.


With his 2011 debut 'Glass Swords', which scored him The Guardian's prestigious First Album Award, Rustie developed a new electronic vocabulary, fusing rave beats with glamorous electronica, never sticking faithfully to just one genre but pulling you along breathlessly with it, The new album was inspired by an even more expansive palette of influences including post-rock bands and hip-hop collaborations, and is sure to not only continues his glassy techno domination, but escalates it to further heights.


'Green Language' includes guest features from the likes of D Double E, Gorgeous Children, Redinho and Danny Brown The tracks on album are expansive and expressive compositions inspired by post-rock bands, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor and My Bloody Valentine, as well as the trance and the Glasgow electronic scene that Rustie himself helped to mould.
