GIMME GABBA GABBA (BLACK VINYL)

In just under 13 minutes, SUCK bash their way through four new songs (well, actually three new songs and a Mot rhead cover) and scream OGIMME GABBA GABBAO from the top of their lungs. Probably a reference to the Ramones' slogans GABBA GABBA HEY and Black Flag's GIMME GIMME GIMME - or rather ABBA' Either way, SUCK's musical influences all seem to come from the day before yesterday. And you can hear that on GIMME GABBA GABBA. Fuzz-soaked punk rock sometimes veers towards hardcore, sometimes towards proto-metal. You might call it versatile. But perhaps SUCK themselves simply don't know where the journey should take them. Despite the almost three-year wait between their debut album ORibbitO (2022) and the new EP, the band can't be accused of a lack of energy on GIMME GABBA GABBA. The record is powerful as fuck.
