With radio station/DJ interludes, and a broad range of styles in the songs, including retro-dancehall, girl-group rock steady, Motown-ska hybrids, and classic roots reggae, The Skints pay homage to the Pirate Radio culture that has helped keep reggae alive for years in the UK. The record even features an amazing, off the wall version of "My War," by hardcore icons Black Flag. Produced by Prince Fatty with the band, the record features guest appearances by Tippa Irie, Horseman, and Rival.
