Papercuts is the project of San Francisco songwriter and producer Jason Quever, and joined legendary Seattle label Sub Pop in 2010, The group have most recently toured with international indie masters Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Camera Obscura and Vetiver, For the band's fourth album, imagine Belle & Sebastian teamin g up with Slowdive and recording with Phil Spector back when he was killing it in the studio, Many of the songs of "Fading Parade" were road-tested before being recorded, and Quever was aided in the studio from the guys who have made up Papercuts' live band over the past two years: David Enos (keyboard and autoharp), Graham Hill (drums), and Frankie Koeller (bass); "Fading Parade" is Papercuts' liveliest record.
