We are delighted to be releasing the 2nd album on Household Name Records by THE CUT UPs... the' band's own Jon Curtis can tell you more :??The Cut Ups are Jon, Dan, Jack, Reza and sometimes Pippa. We started in 2004, and we've just finished our third lp.??The lp is called Building Bridges. Starting Here. released on Household Name Records of London (who have also released records from Capdown and The King Blues). We recorded it with Peter Miles (he's also produced bands like We Are The Ocean, Canterbury and Futures) at his studio in Devon, which happens to be near where we live, in Exeter.??We'd describe ourselves as a punkrock band, with punkrock being one word, and we come from strong tradition of DIY ethics, and positive countercultural ideas.
